A Hard Chrome Plated Hollow Piston Rod is a high-performance key component of hydraulic/pneumatic transmission systems. It is made from high-quality alloy steel tubing, precision machined and surface-treated with hard chrome plating, and features a hollow structure. The inner diameter of the hollow piston rod ranges from 40 mm to 100 mm, and other sizes can be customized according to customer requirements.

Process Flow of Hard Chrome Plated Hollow Piston Rod
The connecting rod is made of 35 steel, with the following processing steps: cold drawing forming, turning, continuous intermediate frequency induction hardening, cylindrical grinding, fine outer circle grinding, finishing of the shearing section, chromium plating, hydrogen tempering, and finishing grinding of the shearing section. To improve the piston rod's surface quality and corrosion resistance, a super-finishing process is added before chrome plating.
